Making a Difference

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

~ Mahatma Gandhi

I have two passions in life: photography and animal advocacy and I have discovered a way to use my photography to make a difference in shelter animals’ lives.

As a volunteer photographer at Sonoma County Animal Services and Green Dog Rescue Project (GDRP), I take photos of adoptable dogs to highlight their personalities and provide them a better chance of getting noticed and finding their forever homes. My time spent at the shelter and GDRP feeds my soul and I am so grateful that I have found a way to meld my two passions into one.

In my efforts to further support animals in my community, I will contribute a portion of print, canvas, or other product sales to the Love Me, Fix Me program in Sonoma County. This important program provides low-cost spay/neuter services. I am available to donate photography services to non-profit animal rescue organizations.
